Album Info:Located near Sunderland, North East England, Monkwearmouth Station was opened in 1848 and closed in 1967. Its grand stone portico and the station building forms the Monkwearmouth Station Museum and its tastefully restored interior and ticket office combines with 'The Sidings' - home to a restored London & North Eastern Railway Covered Carriage Truck and a Tyne Dock Goods Brake Van.
